Steve Kerr declines to respond to LaVar Ball’s criticism

Less than a month after offering a lengthy, nuanced critique of ESPN's coverage of LaVar Ball, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr declined to comment Monday on Ball's recent criticism of him. "Not talking about that," Kerr said. "We're talking about basketball." LaVar, the father of Lakers rookie guard Lonzo Ball, told Lithuanian basketball writer Jonas Miklovas that Kerr's success with Golden State has solely been the result of having loaded rosters. "How do you coach (Kevin Durant), Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson?" Ball said. "You know how you coach them? You don't. Turn your back and let them do what they do. "That team was put together by Mark Jackson.
