Draymond Green fined $50K for foul language

Warriors forward Draymond Green has been fined $50,000 for directing inappropriate and offensive language toward a game referee, the NBA announced Thursday. In the waning seconds of the first half of Golden State's loss Tuesday night to Oklahoma City, Thunder forward Jerami Grant elbowed Green in the face, leaving Green's mouth bloodied. Green complained to referee Lauren Holtkamp about the no-call and was assessed his first technical of the night. Midway through the fourth quarter, Green was ejected for getting his second technical for arguing with Holtkamp. Green, who leads the league with 13 technical fouls, will receive a one-game suspension without pay if he picks up three more.
