Warriors center David West is a go-to sound bite for topics bigger than basketball: President Trump, police brutality, NCAA reform, African American history, renewable energy. But when asked Friday morning to discuss the right arm cyst that sidelined him the past five games, West was uncharacteristically mum. It was understandable: After watching from the bench for two weeks as his teammates tried to overcome a cavalcade of injuries, West is focused on the present.
