Retirement for the NBA’s aging superstars is closer than ever before, but the Warriors and guard Steph Curry aren’t losing sleep over who’s going to inherit the Chef or Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James’ throne.In an interview with the Athletic’s Nick Friedell published Tuesday, the four-time NBA champion expressed that time—as it has in the past—will take care of sorting out which players will become the new faces of the league. “Not much at all,” Curry told Friedell, referring to how often he thinks about who the next face of the league will be. “That stuff takes care of itself.” For the past two decades, James and Curry have played vital roles in elevating the game’s quality on the floor while continuously expanding the league’s global reach.
