Offseason preparation is key for an NBA player, especially Warriors star Draymond Green in his 14th NBA season. On the latest episode of his podcast “The Draymond Green Show,” he said he felt more assured of his preparation this season as opposed to his earlier seasons. But that didn’t stop Green from momentarily wondering if he still had the juice as as he recounted a conversation with Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy. “I said, ‘Mike, I feel so great, I will say this to you now… but last week, I didn’t know if my game was coming around fast enough. So I started to wonder,’ and he chuckled and laughed and said, ‘You started to wonder what? Like, was it not coming back?’ And I was like, ‘Yes, like damn, is it happening to me now?’ ” Green recalled. “Because one thing’s for certain, when you start to lose your game, when your athleticism starts to go down, you know first.
