Not only is Steph Curry continuing to play at an All-NBA level in his 17th season, but he’s also one of the early candidates for the MVP award.And longtime Warriors teammate Draymond Green believes it’s not a fluke.The Golden State forward shared his prediction for the league’s top awards this season on the latest episode of his podcast, “The Draymond Green Show,” and believes the soon-to-be 38-year-old Curry will take home his third MVP award.“For the MVP award … I don’t know that we’ve ever seen it done before, but if we have, excuse me and I apologize, but I don’t think we’ve ever seen a 38-year-old win the MVP award,” Green said. “And I think Steph Curry is going to make a run for it. My MVP — we’re going to have a great year, and he’s going to keep doing what he’s doing — Steph Curry’s about to take home his third MVP this season.”The oldest player to win MVP was a 35-year-old Karl Malone, who did so in the 1998-99 season.
