SAN FRANCISCO – Draymond Green wasn’t slated to speak at the podium Tuesday night after the Warriors’ blowout loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. If anything, Green would talk in the Chase Center locker room with a group of reporters surrounding him. As Warriors fans have seen since Golden State selected him in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft, Draymond beats to his own drum. While we waited for him in the locker room, Green began walking up the steps on his way to the postgame podium. What he delivered met the moment after what could have been his final game in a Warriors jersey. Green is well aware he’s part of a trade package that could net the Warriors their next superstar in Giannis Antetokounmpo by Thursday’s NBA trade deadline that ends at noon PT.
