Former NBA player Lou Williams believes that Warriors superstar Stephen Curry will make history as the first former player to have two statues built outside of a sports arena.Williams, a cohost on FanDuel’s “Run It Back” podcast, shared his thoughts Wednesday when discussing the possibility of Curry’s teammate Draymond Green and former teammate Klay Thompson receiving their own statues outside of Chase Center.“I think you put up a statue with the three of those guys because they’ve made a ton of history as a collective and Steph Curry, being the global superstar that he is, deserves one as an individual as well,” Williams said.
