The Warriors officially have rewarded Pat Spencer.Golden State is signing the two-way guard to a contract for the rest of the 2025-26 NBA season, the team announced Saturday.Spencer exhausted his allotment of active games (50) as a two-way player following the Warriors’ 101-97 win over the Phoenix Suns on Thursday.After helping the Warriors win, Spencer addressed his future with the organization.“There was no monkey off my back,” Spencer told Kerith Burke, Chris Mullin and Festus Ezeli on NBC Sports Bay Area’s “Warriors Postgame Live” after the win. “I didn’t sign anything yet. We’ll have some conversations and we’ll figure that out.”The Warriors created two roster spots when they traded Jonathan Kuminga, Buddy Hield and Trayce Jackson-Davis atThursday’s NBA trade deadline.This season, Spencer is averaging 5.8 points on 42.3-percent shooting from the field and 43.1 percent from 3-point range, with 2.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists.He’s been the energizer the Warriors need at times, and now he’s been rewarded for it.Download and follow the Dubs Talk Podcast
