The Warriors have faced some scrutiny over the last few years for their inability to develop their young talent into star-caliber NBA players.Winning four championships between 2015 and 2022, Golden State has not had a player it drafted become an All-Star since Draymond Green, who was selected 35th overall in the second round in 2012.Warriors coach Steve Kerr responded to the criticism many fans have directed at him and the team, defending how Golden State has approached developing its young players.“Well, it’s the role of the organization,” Kerr said Wednesday on 95.7 The Game’s “Willard & Dibs” show.“I think we’ve really addressed that over the last four or five years. We felt like there were some improvements we could make, and we changed some things organizationally. We brought in a couple of people to put them in charge of player development.
