BOX SCORESAN FRANCISCO – Despite making a spirited second-half surge, the Warriors were unable Friday night to avoid their longest losing streak of the season.After trailing by as much as 25, Golden State trimmed the deficit to as little as seven in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to prevent a 127-117 loss to the much healthier and appreciably better Minnesota Timberwolves at Chase Center.The loss extends Golden State’s skid to four and drops its record (32-34) to two games under .500 for the first time since Dec. 18.Five Warriors scored in double figures, led by 25 points from Brandin Podziemski and 20 from Kristaps Porziis. Gui Santos finished with 17, while De’Anthony Melton and Pat Spencer each totaled 12.Anthony Edwards scored 42 points to lead the Timberwolves.With Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler III and Moses Moody already sidelined, the Warriors also were without Draymond Green, who was a late scratch with low-back soreness.The Warriors lost three more players to injuries against the Timberwolves: Seth Curry (left adductor), Quinten Post (left ankle) and Al Horford (right calf).Here are three observations...
