Curry has been out since Jan. 30 with a knee injury and has undergone multiple evaluations, leading the team to keep him sidelined. While many around the Bay expect and might even want the Warriors to shut him down, coach Steve Kerr confirmed to NBA on NBC’s Bob Costas before the game that Curry will be back at some point during the 2025-26 NBA season.“Well, we expect him back,” Kerr said. “He’s trending in the right direction. It’s been a tricky injury. I think he’ll be back for sure. We just don’t know if it’s going to be a week or two or whatever. It’s a day-to-day process.” Steve Kerr joins Bob Costas for a wide-ranging discussion about his Warriors, the evolution of the game and more.
