Steve Kerr won’t let the Warriors’ 2025-26 NBA regular season sway him in either direction this offseason. Golden State’s coach, whose contract expires at the end of this season, has a big decision to make regarding his future with the organization — and coaching altogether. And the Warriors’ (37-45) disappointing regular season that placed them back in the NBA play-in tournament as the Western Conference’s No. 10 seed, won’t be a factor in whether or not he decides to return next season. “It doesn’t factor in,” Kerr recently told The Athletic’s Nick Friedell in an exclusive interview. “That’s something I’ll address after the season ends.
