Macklin Celebrini’s historic Sharks season sparked great reactions from Bay Area sports legends across the region.Celebrini, in the final game of the 2025-26 NHL regular season, earned his 115th point against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday to break franchise icon Joe Thornton’s record for most points in a single Sharks campaign. The 19-year-old forward, the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NHL Draft, pushed his total to 115 points (45 goals, 70 assists), passing Thornton’s record of 114 in 2006-07.Jumbo shared the love with a special video posted to the Sharks’ official Instagram account to congratulate the teen superstar.“Macklin, Macklin, Macklin.
