SAN FRANCISCO – Nobody can speak for Steve Kerr and what his future holds as the Warriors’ head coach. And no two players can speak more to what Kerr the man and coach have meant to them more than Steph Curry and Draymond Green. The two players and their coach huddled together at the end of the Warriors’ season-ending NBA play-in tournament loss to the Phoenix Suns on Friday night to share a moment of love, appreciation and reflection with Kerr unable to say what exactly is next for him. That was just the start to what the rest of the night became. Kerr spoke for 15 and a half minutes after the loss, mostly answering questions about if he’d return to the Warriors or step away and all the factors that will go into his decision. Green came next, speaking for exactly one more minute than his coach, with most of his time dedicated to Kerr, and Draymond expressing his desire to remain on the Warriors playing for the same coach.
