When an NBA player tells the media heading in to their third season that their goal is to be better than Steph Curry, a tad bit of criticism is sure to follow.For Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski, who averaged 13.8 points, 3.7 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game during the 2025-26 NBA season, that criticism came by way of a player survey.The 23-year-old was voted among the league’s “most overrated” by an anonymous player poll conducted by The Athletic.Podziemski was one of six players who received 2.5 percent of the votes by the 81 total voters — tied with Dillon Brooks, Tyrese Haliburton, Tyler Herro, Evan Mobley and Domantas Sabonis.
