Draymond Green finally set the record straight on one of the more comedic moments in his NBA career.In a guest appearance earlier this week on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Green told host Jimmy Kimmel that his infamous 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend 3-point contest against actor Kevin Hart, which ended in a closely contested “win” for the Warriors’ forward, was manipulated behind the scenes.“This is 2016,” Green explained to Kimmel. “This is my first time becoming an All-Star. No one really knows who I am. Kevin’s a big star. Everyone says the NBA is rigged, right? That’s what everyone thinks, no? I see it all the time on Instagram, Twitter [and] Threads….well, [the NBA] made me lose.” It is indicative of the discourse surrounding the event in the 10 years since that Green doesn’t appear to remember that he technically won the contest that day.
