Warriors reportedly did not see themselves in mix for Pelicans’ Trey Murphy III

With NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo now on the move from the Milwaukee Bucks to the Miami Heat, the Warriors likely will pivot to other potential trade targets to help improve their roster during this offseason.One of Golden State’s most rumored targets has been New Orleans Pelicans forward Trey Murphy III, who certainly would fit the Warriors’ need for a prime wing at only 26 years old.However, Golden State did not view itself as one of the teams in the running for Murphy III, according to The Athletic’s senior NBA writer Sam Amick.“There is definitely a bunch of Trey Murphy noise.
