Warriors fans dreaming of a Steph Curry–LeBron James union in the Bay Area might have received a wake-up call.Per ESPN’s Shams Charania, Golden State is not at “the top of the list” of James’ preferred free-agent destinations, a list that could include up to nine other teams vying for the 22-time All-Star’s services.

“The Warriors, going into free agency, they dreamt up a grand plan of Draymond Green, Stephen Curry, LeBron James,” Charania reported Friday on “Get Up,” ESPN’s early-morning show. “But the big domino with them is trying to get a player like [Washington Wizards forward] Anthony Davis to bring LeBron and [Davis] as a package deal. Short of that, they’re not really looked at right now as the top of this list.

“But things can change.” Shams says the Warriors are NOT looked at as the top team on LeBron’s list:
