As the Warriors await superstar LeBron James’ NBA free agency decision, the organization remains active in trying to improve its roster ahead of next season.Golden State already has agreed with center Kristaps Porziis to a two-year, $40 million contract extension, with veteran Al Horford to a two-year, $14 million deal and with guard De’Anthony Melton to a new two-year, $11 million contract.

Among other free agents on the market, the Warriors reportedly were one of the teams expressing some interest in versatile forward Rui Hachimura and veteran guard Anfernee Simons.

Hachimura has agreed to a two-year, $28 million deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, turning down offers from the Warriors, the San Antonio Spurs, the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Brooklyn Nets, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Meanwhile, Simons signed a new two-year, $12.3 million contract with a Philadelphia 76ers team that also traded for former Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown.
