The Warriors are preparing for Plan B if their attempts at luring LeBron James to Northern California end King-less.Golden State already has discussed the idea of signing recently waived DeMar DeRozan, ESPN’s NBA insider Anthony Slater reported Monday.

“The Warriors, I have already been told it’s a guy they will look into at some point in the coming days, especially if they do not get LeBron James,” Slater said on SportsCenter. The 17-year veteran is from Compton, Calif., just 20 minutes away from Inglewood, where the Clippers play and played his first nine seasons with the Raptors after being drafted No. 9 overall by Toronto in 2009.
