By now, every pitch possible has been made to LeBron James as he seeks a new home in NBA free agency.Even Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg gave his best proposal to the four-time NBA MVP at NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
“My pitch is, man, I know you don’t like rookies that much, man, but I’m not the average rookie, you know, and I would love to learn under you, man,” Lendeborg said. “So I mean, if you’re looking to play with one of the greatest — the greatest shooter of all time and a close friend of yours, Draymond, it’ll be great to come to the Warriors, and we’ll be glad to have you.”
While passionate and persuasive, the pitch didn’t necessarily move Warriors veteran Draymond Green.
In fact, Green believes it was “pointless,” as he explained on “The Draymond Green Show.”
