As Steph Curry enters his 18th campaign in the 2026-27 NBA season, he once again will be the Warriors’ focal point. But as Curry, two-time NBA MVP, 12-time All-Star and four-time champion, nears the twilight of his career, Warriors owner Joe Lacob wants to make sure Golden State maximizes the end of their superstar’s legacy.In an interview with Lacob on “The TK Show,” the San Francisco Standard’s Tim Kawakami mentioned Curry’s remaining years and asked if the Warriors are trying to do everything they can to be competitive while he is still there, alluding to struggles the team could experience once Curry retires.
