Yaxel Lendeborg might be just a rookie, but he already is well aware of the Warriors’ long-standing history with Dillon Brooks.The NBA veteran has had plenty of infamous incidents playing against Golden State, from clotheslining Gary Payton II and fracturing his elbow in the 2022 Western Conference semifinals, to swiping at Steph Curry’s injured thumb, among several other run-ins.
So, when Lendeborg was asked recently on his Kick stream if he’s excited to match up with Brooks this season, his answer was essentially music to Dub Nation’s ears.
“I’m finna give Dillon Brooks belt, man. Stop playing, bruh,” Lendeborg responded without hesitation. “I’m finna give Dillon Brooks belt.”
