In case you have not heard, Steph Curry does not want to go anywhere. He has stated his desire to end his NBA career with the Warriors countless times in recent years, and especially this summer. He has made it abundantly clear.
So, despite outside speculation and the national media entertaining unrealistic hypothetical scenarios, the Warriors superstar will remain with the only NBA franchise he has ever known.
For how long and for how much? That remains to be seen.
Curry spoke exclusively with ESPN’s Anthony Slater on Wednesday, where he addressed his looming contract extension, which he became eligible to sign starting Aug. 29, with Warriors media day and training camp taking place next week.
“I don’t want there to be no drama,” Curry told Slater. “No talking points. This team should be competitive and go win.”
