Steph Curry single-handedly changed the game of basketball when he and the Warriors ran the NBA throughout the 2010s — and he did so with a rare eye condition.Curry, speaking exclusively to People Magazine’s Natasha Dye, recently revealed he learned that he was dealing with a rare condition called Keratoconus in 2018.

“It was 2018, and I didn’t know I was really dealing with crazy blurred vision or distorted images — it was just the way that I saw things, and we compensated around it,” Curry told Dye.

It actually was then-Warriors general manager Bob Myers who noticed something off about Curry while watching a game from home.

“He texted me after the game because apparently the telecast kept showing me when I was on the bench, and he was like, ‘You’re just squinting, looking like you couldn’t see anything. Have you gotten your eyes checked? You should probably go do that because that wasn’t normal,’ ” Curry recalled to Dye.

Curry took Myers’ advice and went to see an optometrist.
