The Warriors are back in action and hungrier than ever to return to the NBA playoffs after missing them entirely last season. Coach Steve Kerr is still leading the charge after rumors circulated that he would step down after last season. But Kerr and the Warriors agreed to a new contract, keeping him in charge of the franchise for at least the next two seasons.Kerr seems more motivated than ever since announcing his return, implementing changes to the offensive system while also figuring out ways for the team to improve their spacing on the floor. Owner Joe Lacob has noticed Kerr’s renewed fire and is happy that he got his coach back, even if they do not see eye-to-eye on everything.

“I think he’s very motivated,”Joe Lacob told The San Francisco Chronicle’s Ron Kroichick. “I looked around and said, ‘Am I really gonna get a better coach than Steve Kerr?’ Look, he’s a great coach with a tremendous track record of success. We don’t agree on every little thing all the time, but for the most part we do agree on things.”
