LOS ANGELES – Yaxel Lendeborg isn’t someone who grew up watching NBA games from start to finish across the league. He’s part of a new generation – the highlight generation. Among the many players Lendeborg loved watching highlights of, Luka Doni always has been at the top of his list. Not anymore.

After one regular-season game in the NBA, the Warriors rookie has a much different outlook on the Los Angeles Lakers superstar.

“Being in there firsthand, just watching all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect, man,” Lendeborg said after the Warriors’ blowout loss to the Lakers on Wednesday night in the 2026-27 NBA regular-season opener at Crypto.com Arena. “That was awful. Like, me getting frustrated, it’s not about the foul being called, it’s about him complaining the entire game. And then you get the foul called, congratulations bro.

“You want to talk to me like you did something great? C’mon dog. That’s just weak. It kind of threw me off for a little while, because, like I said, I had so much respect for him. Gone, man. Gone.” View this post on...
