In the Warriors’ eighth game of the 2026-27 NBA season, Draymond Green has earned his first ejection. The Golden State veteran was tossed with 10 minutes left in the third quarter against the Phoenix Suns on Monday at Chase Center receiving a pair of technical fouls — the first for shoving Suns center Khaman Maluach to the ground beneath the rim, and another for an ensuing scuffle with Phoenix forward Dillon Brooks. — Warriors on NBCS (@NBCSWarriors) November 3, 2026 The Warriors, already short-handed this season, were down 67-57 at the time of Green’s ejection. It’s clear Green took exception to no foul call on Maluach after the Warriors big man went down as the Suns center drove to the rim, and Brooks, no stranger to altercations with Warriors players, stepped in to defend his teammate.
In just under 17 minutes on the floor, Green was 1-of-2 shooting from the field with four points, four rebounds and two assists as a minus-6 in the game.
