With flight delayed, Stephen Curry hit the driving range

HOUSTON — Stephen Curry made the most of the Warriors' flight delay Friday, hitting the driving range for a while and then spending three hours at home with his family.The Warriors arrived for Saturday morning's shootaround and acted as if nothing happened the day before, when there flight was delayed six hours - causing them to miss practice and land in Houston at about 10 p.m.The team's charter plane was supposed to fly from Oakland to Houston at 10 a.m. Friday, but 15 minutes after the scheduled takeoff time, it was announced that the plane needed a new part.Being told that the flight would be delayed until 1 p.m., the players dispersed and the coaches went to the downtown Oakland practice facility to watch game video.Houston center Dwight Howard, who put up 19 points and 17 rebounds on a bruised left knee in Game 2, said he's feeling much better."It gives us confidence that our big fella is back there to protect us and fight his way through the series," Houston shooting guard James Harden said.Harden averaged 33 points on 58.5 percent shooting from the floor and 44.4 percent shooting from three-point range to go along with 10.5 rebounds, nine assists and 3.5 steals in...
