You may remember Mark Johnson as the Cleveland weatherman who lost his you-know-what on air when LeBron James led the Miami Heat to the first of two consecutive NBA titles in 2012. "If we could've used some Thunder, it was tonight, huh?" Johnson screeched into the camera during Miami's five-game NBA Finals victory against Oklahoma City three years ago. "We could've used some Thunder. Nothing. Nothing. Just some rain — and the Heat. Lots of Heat. No Thunder." So outraged that LeBron led another city to an NBA title, Johnson kept erupting until WEWS-TV sports director Andy Baskin mercifully grabbed him and said, "Stop. Seriously. Enough." This was the mood in Cavaliers country a few years ago, after James' Decision tore out the collective heart of Cleveland basketball fans, and some in turn burned his jerseys in the street. All was forgiven this past summer, when he penned his " I'm Coming Home " letter for Sports Illustrated. Still, as the anger builds with each passing year during a title drought that's reached a half-century, some Cleveland fans require a new whipping boy now that James has carried their Cavs back to the finals.
