An edited transcript of an interview with Warriors assistant coach Ron Adams:How's your exhaustion level?The gas tank full?Working on his perimeter game and general things too, but really just working on his shooting from the perimeter.Subsequently, it makes them higher wage earners, and that's part of my job.Taking a moment to reflect, it has been about a month since the parade, but when you look back on the run that you had, what was the prime attribute of the run to the championship?In my mind what defined our team in the playoffs was that we learned how to be mentally tough and we learned that splash is good but grit is better.[...] if you look at the general nature of each playoff round, we started playing pretty good basketball never really playing great at home.Maybe we had one great home game.[...] each round really ratcheted up our intensity, our focus, our grit quite well.What I'm saying is the general look at what happened: I saw a team that grew mentally — mental toughness, grit, focus and so on and so forth.
