Anderson Varejao on Tuesday morning was assessed a flagrant-1 foul by the NBA for tripping Gerald Henderson at the 3:29 mark of Sunday's third quarter, a move the Warriors' reserve center says was accidental. "I would never try to hurt anybody," Varejao said at the Warriors' shootaround Tuesday, about eight hours before Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinal series against Portland. Varejao said he doesn't expect the animosity to carry over, but Portland head coach Terry Stotts told reporters a day earlier that the play was dirty.
