Kerr said Curry is making steady progress in his recovery from a sprained medial collateral ligament (MCL), but he wasn't ready to join his teammates on the court Thursday. The Warriors, who hold a 2-0 lead in the series, will practice at their Oakland headquarters again Friday morning before traveling to Portland. Kerr and Warriors trainers want Curry to participate in practice, and at least a three-on-three scrimmage, before he returns to game action. Curry hasn't played since injuring his knee on the final play of the first half April 24, in Game 4 of the first-round series against Houston.
