Harrison Barnes gets warm goodbye at Oracle Arena

Harrison Barnes expects that the reaction might be a little different when he returns to Oracle Arena in a Dallas Mavericks uniform for the first time, but wearing a Team USA on Tuesday, he received a series of warm goodbyes from his old home crowd. There was some anxiety about how the Warriors' crowd would treat Barnes, who averaged five points on 5-of-32 shooting from the field and 3-of-15 shooting from three-point range in the final three games of the team's championship series collapse to Cleveland. [...] they made it clear early on that the night would be about the contributions he made during his four seasons with the Warriors, which included an NBA championship and NBA-record 73 regular-season wins. Some of the Warriors' core occupied some of the best seats in the house as general manager Bob Myers, assistant general manager Kirk Lacob, sixth man Andre Iguodala and point guard Stephen Curry sat in the courtside seats across from the Team USA bench. The foursome sat a handful of rows in front of former Warriors and Team USA participants Chris Mullin and Mitch Richmond, who patiently signed autographs throughout the game.
