Rookie McCaw impresses in Warriors' preseason opener VANCOUVER, British Columbia — During his professional debut Saturday, Patrick McCaw showed why the Warriors traded $2.4 million to Milwaukee on draft night for the combo guard's rights. The second-round pick from UNLV recorded 11 points, four assists and five steals in Golden State's 97-93 exhibition loss to Toronto. With the starters watching from the bench in the second half, McCaw used his length to get into passing lanes and pushed the tempo in transition. Saturday morning, before the Warriors headed to Vancouver's Rogers Arena for their preseason opener against Toronto, Kerr told his players that the organization supports whatever they decide to do during the national anthem.
