Warriors leaning toward exercising option on Kevon Looney

The Warriors are leaning toward picking up the third-year option on forward Kevon Looney, according to a team spokesman. The 30th pick of the 2015 NBA draft, he impressed this preseason, averaging 3.7 points and 4.5 rebounds in 12.2 minutes per game. In back-to-back games last week, Looney recorded nine rebounds.
