Because Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are reserved by nature, Green's outbursts often provide a necessary spark. On the eve of the All-Star break, they parlayed a dominant third quarter into a comfortable cushion as they cruised to a 109-86 rout of the Kings. Green, who exited with just two points, two rebounds and three assists, was left to watch his teammates pummel Sacramento from a locker-room TV. The alley-oop master hammered it home, sending fans to their feet and giving the Warriors an 80-59 lead. The depleted Kings, playing a night after a 97-96 win over the Lakers at Staples Center, couldn't muster a counterpunch.
