After the Warriors' shootaround Wednesday, when asked about LaVar Ball's recent comment that his son, UCLA freshman Lonzo Ball, is better than the two-time reigning NBA MVP, Curry paused for a moment before saying: I don't want to talk about that. LaVar has already built a reputation for buzz-worthy quotes. Just in the past few months, he has guaranteed the Bruins would win a national title, admitted that he thinks Lonzo will have an easier time in the NBA than in college, and even predicted that all three of his sons — Lonzo's two younger brothers, LiAngelo and LaMelo, are UCLA commits — will be one-and-dones. Put Steph Curry on UCLA's team right now, and put my boy on Golden State and watch what happens. Connor Letourneau is a San Francisco Chronicle staff writer.
