After several seasons on the NBA's fringes, the younger of the Curry brothers has emerged as a reliable starter for the Mavericks. In nine games since the All-Star break, Seth Curry is averaging 18.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.2 steals in 34 minutes. Since cracking the starting lineup in mid-January, Seth has helped the Mavericks join the competition for the Western Conference's No. 8 seed. Dallas owner Mark Cuban, who affectionately calls Seth "Swaggy Swag," said recently that he wants the combo guard to stay with the Mavericks "forever." Two weeks after suffering a left knee injury in Washington, Kevin Durant was seen walking around — albeit gingerly — after practice Tuesday while hoisting some set shots.
