Most blocked shots in a season in NBA history by player (Associated Content)

These are the ten players in NBA history who blocked the most shots in a season. Not every player on the list led the NBA in blocks during the season but the vast majority did. The NBA did not start counting blocks until the 1973-74 season so players like Bill Russell are not listed. When I first started rooting for the New Jersey Nets back in 1977 my favorite player on the team was rookie Bernard King. King was an explosive offensive player who could run the floor with anybody and was the most exciting player on the team.
