Jeffries spoke as lawmakers began returning to Washington Monday. Wizards guard Bradley Beal called President Donald Trump a "clown" and said he's "not a leader" for his tweets about Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors and his comments about NFL players kneeling or sitting during the national anthem.
