In the wake of another mass shooting, at a small Baptist church in rural Texas, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr spoke out passionately about finding a way to curtail gun violence in the United States. "To solve it, I think we almost have to look at it like a public health issue,"Kerr said. "Too often, we get caught up in political rhetoric, 2nd amendment rights, NRA stuff. We have to look at this as it having nothing to do with partisanship, political parties. It's got to be a public safety issue, a public health issue." Gun violence is a deeply personal issue to Kerr, whose father was assassinated in 1984 by two gunmen outside his office in Beirut.
