Five months after signing with the Warriors on a one-year, veteran-minimum deal, Omri Casspi lingered on the Oracle Arena court Thursday night as he fielded questions surrounded by cameras. In helping power Golden State to a 112-97 win over Dallas on Jewish Heritage Night, Casspi — a Holon, Israel native — continued to show why he is one of the summer's biggest bargains. He notched season-highs in points (17) and rebounds (11) for his first double-double as a Warrior. Kevin Durant continued to reinforce why Golden State is so fortunate to have another MVP shouldering the load in Stephen Curry's absence. In addition to posting 11 rebounds and seven assists, he poured in 36 points on 15-for-23 shooting.
