Kevin Durant: ‘Our team, as a country, is not run by a great coach’
LOS ANGELES — Speaking with ESPN's Cari Champion in a segment taped for UNINTERRUPTED in January, Warriors forward Kevin Durant and Cavaliers forward LeBron James were both highly critical of President Donald Trump. "What's going on in our country, it's all about leadership," Durant said in the video, released Thursday. "I learned that playing basketball. I learned a lot of life skills from playing basketball. You need to empower people, you need to encourage people. That's what builds a great team. And I feel like our team, as a country, is not run by a great coach." President Trump "is someone who doesn't understand the people," James said. "And really, he doesn't give a f--- about the people.
