A day after he reportedly was part of a potential ownership group that backed out of a bid to buy the Carolina Panthers, Warriors point guard Stephen Curry reiterated his desire Thursday to have an ownership stake in his hometown NFL franchise. "Definitely," Curry said after practice. "Not a distraction, but definitely something I'm working on." Bloomberg reported Wednesday that Michael Rubin, the billionaire executive chairman of sports-apparel company Fanatics, pulled his bid to buy the team after watching the price for the Panthers spike to $2.5 billion, which would set a record for a U.S. professional sports franchise.
