Warriors working on multi-year deal with Quinn Cook

INDIANAPOLIS — The Warriors have been in discussions with point guard Quinn Cook about a multiyear deal that would turn his two-way contract into a standard NBA deal, a team source has confirmed with The Chronicle. ESPN was first to report the news. A two-year guaranteed contract can't be finalized until the regular season ends April 10. Due to the nature of his two-way contract, Cook would need his deal converted to a standard contract to be on the postseason roster. With Stephen Curry expected to miss the first round of the playoffs with a sprained left MCL, Golden State could use insurance at point guard.
