Warriors still favored by Las Vegas to win NBA title

The Warriors are still Las Vegas' favorites to hoist the Larry O'Brien Trophy, but not by much. Golden State is 6-5 (plus-120) favorites against the field to win an NBA title, according to the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. That is a far cry from the start of the season, when Westgate had the Warriors as prohibitive minus-240 favorites. The reason is simple: Chasing its third title in four years, Golden State has had a tough time living up to expectations. It finished second in the Western Conference behind Houston, won 58 games — easily the fewest of the Steve Kerr era — and dropped 10 of its final 17 regular-season games.
