SAN ANTONIO — Warriors center JaVale McGee has been cleared to play Game 3 of the first round Thursday night against the Spurs. McGee, who has started both games of these playoffs, sustained a left quad contusion in Monday's Game 2 win over San Antonio. In 19 minutes, he had 10 points, seven rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals. But McGee struggled to contain LaMarcus Aldridge, who punished him inside, posting 34 points and 12 rebounds. The only other players on Golden State's injury report for Game 3 — Stephen Curry (left MCL sprain) and Patrick McCaw (lumbar spine contusion) — are no surprise.
