NEW ORLEANS — At the end of the first half of the Warriors' Game 2 win Tuesday night over the Pelicans, Rajon Rondo confronted Draymond Green face-to-face. The two jawed briefly before Green turned and headed toward the locker room. It was a sign of progress for a player who has had trouble reining in his emotions. After finishing the regular season second in the league with 15 technical fouls, Green has yet to get one seven games into the playoffs. "It's one of the great stats from this year's playoffs," head coach Steve Kerr said before Game 3 on Friday at Smoothie King Center. "I think he's matured." A brash, emotional leader, Green is at his best when playing the villain.
